The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has surpassed a million copies bought in Japan on the Change and Wii U. In whole, the sport bought 871,528 copies on Change and 133,024 copies on the Wii U.
This makes it the second best-selling Zelda sport in Japan after Ocarina of Time, and it’s extremely possible that it’ll surpass gross sales of that sport, which stand at 1,250,000.
Breath of the Wild can be the primary Zelda sport to promote over one million copies in Japan since Ocarina of Time. That was 20 years in the past.
